Stunning Higgins Lake is a crystal-clear lake, in Roscommon County and has been named one of the world’s most beautiful lakes. The lake is approximately 10 miles north to south, and about 5+1⁄2 miles at its widest point. Houghton Lake has 30 miles of total shoreline and its waters cover 20,044 acres. Moreover, it is an extremely popular resort and fishing area year-round. Additionally, Houghton Lake is the site of Tip-Up-Town USA, a large ice fishing and winter sports festival with several events on the frozen waters of the lake itself. Additionally, Houghton Lake is named after the first state geologist, Douglass Houghton who explored the area.

The beautiful Lake James is a private all-sports lake located in Prudenville, Michigan. Equally important, the 192 Acres in size and comprised of numerous bays, canals, and islands giving it more shoreline per acre of lake than most other lakes it size. Generations of families call this their summer retreat as well as full-time residents in Roscommon County. This is a beautiful man-made lake with over 300 acres of water at an average depth of 12 feet. Additionally, there are 12 private lakefront parks and one offshore park provided for the use of property owners and their guests. Moosehead Park, on the southwest side of the lake, is a large secure area for the launching of boats.

Saint Helen and Waterfronts on Lake St. Helen
Lake St. Helen has been an essential part of the St. Helen / Richfield Township area for generations. The Famous 222 Exit, is well known for the trails that surround this community of fun-loving people. Its maximum depth is approximately 25 feet with most of the lake less than 10 feet deep. The lake has three basins or segments, known as first lake, second lake, and third lake. Additionally, It is an all-sports lake with various activities, including boating, fishing, ice fishing, kayaking, and more. Moreover, with over 2,400 acres of water and a completely undeveloped ALL NATURAL North Shore ( the North Shore of Lake Saint Helen is a Private Property ), it offers a wonderful lake experience.

Harrison and Waterfronts on Budd Lake
Budd Lake is a 175-acre public lake located in Clare County, within the city limits of Harrison, Michigan. In addition, there is Wilson State Park, a 36-acre wooded area with 160 campsites, borders the lake to the northwest with a sandy beach. Additionally, in the early 1900s century, several lumber mills operated on the Budd Lake shoreline, and a lumber company that operated in the late 1800s donated Wilson State Park to Michigan. Moreover, the lake community has a long history and has served as a wonderful place to enjoy nature and “up-north” living.

Clare and Waterfronts on Little Long Lake
Little Long Lake is a small freshwater lake located in Harrison and Hayes Township in Clare County in Central Michigan. The lake encompasses 43 acres. Little Long Lake is bisected by U.S. Highway 127, and a small canal travels under the highway to connect the two segments. While the lake is mostly surrounded by private residences, there is one public access boat launch in the far northwest corner of the lake on Hammond Road. With depths of at least 50 feet, common fish in the lake include black crappie, brook and brown trout, bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, rock bass, and yellow perch With rainbow trout and a few lake trout.

West Branch and Waterfronts on Lake Ogemaw
Gorgeous Lake Ogemaw is an all-sports private lake for lake association owners. Subsequently, in the summertime, the lake is filled with families that make the short ride just a little over 2-hour drive from Detroit, Michigan. Moreover, you will find the sandbars a delight. The lake started development in 1963. The lake has approximately 420 acres with a spillway lake level of 792 feet about sea level. Additionally, the lake is a great fishing lake in summer or winter.
